Hello there.

I'm back and alive. I have been watching loads of vlogs and I found out that it interests me to find out what people eat in day and I get a lot of inspiration from other people. So I decided to document what I ate in a day, and this became a habit now. So I have what I at in a different days, I guess. Anyways, maybe you can get some inspiration.

..you've got to make a lemonade.

Today was a very surreal day in the goods and the bads. And yes this is another one of the rambling blogs, but it is getting to the point where I will be doing normal blogging again.



So I have my last exam this Wednesday, meaning in two days. And I stayed home and  decided to work from home and then just start learning because I am a bit scared about the exam.

I had some bad news today, but I don't know if I am allowed to tell you, because they are not my personal bad news. I do not know why, but I would tell you. I like to tell the bad bad news, it just lifts the weigh off of you, if you know what I mean. And just takes you to a whole new level of things and you look at it few weeks later and you are like meh.

I remember the time, when I was doing my drivers licence test. I was really scared, and we had the worst policeman in the city to take the final test with. And the writing test was all right, we all passed and then, when we went to drive, he was like really in not a good mood and the guy that went before me was really bad and I could see how the policeman is getting annoyed (we were two in the car for each ride) and the guy before me is driving like 20 km/h on a 50 and so on. But the policeman was like okay just go already.

And after him it was my turn. And he was really really annoyed and I was driving pretty great back then (getting back to it now), so he found the lamest excuse and  decided to kick me out because I went on a orange light (which I didn't and the instructor was like what the hell). And I got kicked out, and I was feeling as if my whole life has fallen apart. But then, two months later I retook the test and nailed it. So in the end, it was all great after all.

Moral of the story: If you don't get it the first time, don't worry, you will the next time. And crying is allright. I cried my heart out that day and was feeling pretty much allright after that,

The good news I want to share require a bit of a story too so hold on to your horses and keep reading.

The diploma thesis I handed in on 14th of May, this May. I was not really happy about it. I worked on it really hard but did not have enough time, I got stuck so many times on stupid things and almost did not finished it on time. I was done programming two days before the actual due date and had to write an entire documentation about it in those two days. Some parts I had done already, but there was still a lot of work. But finally, I finished it, completely devastated and sleep deprived, but it was done, I had three printed copies in my hand and just handed them in.

And today, I discovered that I have the final grade from my oponent. We have one grade from the person who is leading us and one from some random person from school - our oponent. With these two we go to the final presentation and get the final grade based on the two grades and the presentation and the dialogue after the presentation. So, my oponent, obviously, did not know about my situation around this paper and gave me an A. A freaking A.

So I am now so happy, even though it does not really mean too much, I still don't know the second grade, but it is a small victory and I am proud of it.

That would be all. So if you feel down for something just don't let it get over your head. In the long run none of the small stuff matters. What matters are final results, which if you are trying hard enough, they will come sooner or later. But do not forget to celebrate the small things, because those will make you some great memories.

P.S. I am working on a what I eat in a day post for my next healthy Friday and I have a bunch of new ins, so the posts are coming to me, I just have to finish school first. But slowly I will get back on track. Also sewing videos will come, loads of them.

P.S.2 If you are feeling down, put on some uplifting song. And if you like, share your story down below, sometimes talking about it to a complete stranger helps a lot. There is something funny about the anonymity, it is as if we were scared of judgment because we are going through a tough time. But if you like to talk to your friends, talk to them, they will never judge you if they are true friends.

P.S.3 I really have to get to the learning now. My final exam (except for state exam) at this school is on Wednesday. Cross fingers. And comment if you have something we should cross fingers to. We will.

Hello there!

I have been catching up with life on the internet for last past hours and I am just shattered. So extremely tired. But I wanted to talk to you a bit about nothing and everything, you know. Just me rambling about life, my life and life all around.



I decided to make a free day for myself, much to the sadness of my darling since he has to study for his state exams on Tuesday. I do not have to. I should, but no real power is forcing me, even though there is a tiny soft voice in the back of my head, just waiting there like a small daemon, laughing and waiting for the time that comes, when he can tell me 'You should have studied that Saturday. That one you spent watching youtube. And that Thursday you spent reading books.'

Last few days I have read through two books. After handing in my masters thesis, 80 pages long, in two copies I had to go to work and then work on another two papers and after they were done I had an exam. And I just couldn't handle seeing computer open and working the day after my exam so I took Waiting for Doggo, and read through it. And it was completely awesome book for my state of mind. I bought it because they had it in store, and they never sell books but they had summer vacation themed sale that week and had books. I bough three. Waiting for Doggo was one of them and it is the perfect book for vacation. For that time, when you want to just read into a great book, not think about anything else, but still you don't want the book to be too tight. It's just a great relaxed book with an awesome story and it's easy to read.

The other one was Girl Online, and on the internet, everyone already heard about this one. I was not going to read it, because I just consider myself out of the audience the book was meant for. But then a newsletter from book shop came and they had the slovak translation there and I was like, that's cute, and started reading the piece they show you. Well that piece was the first two chapters and I read into it while learning for my exam and the day after it still bugged me and I was like alright, I need to read this book. And I did. I still consider myself out of the target audience, I think if I was 15-17 this would be an awesome book. The story is a bit too, I don't know I feel like I have read these stories, and wrote these stories when I was young too many times to not know how it will turn out. Still it surprised me. There were some good plot twist. And the writing was really good. I feel that as a holiday book this is an awesome one.

After the horrible week of eating pizza and fast food, I was happy to get back into healthy foods, but I kind of feel like I lost it and have to find it again. So I am on my way to be healthy again. I started exercising after few weeks again. I feel completely horrible, I have to tell you. I have issues with my poor stomach after these weeks, and it just does not feel good to be this lazy and weak again. So I started exercising, been jumping on jump rope and then some workout for muscles. And it's a great feeling I must tell you.

I have started going to work again, and it's really good. I am one of those people who love their job and I just can't get over how awesome it is. I am just incredibly happy that I decided to go to the uni I decided to go and then decided to look for a job at the right time, so that these awesome people hired me. I just can't wait for working full time. Even though I am going to miss those day, when I woke up and did nothing but sew. And I made some awesome dresses and shirts etc. I am gonna miss those days, when I was just home alone at my parents house and could do nothing for a week than just sit behind my sewing machines.

Then again I still have weekends, even though the number of free weekend is rapidly disappearing as we make plans. And I have so many new fabrics that I have to get through. I am looking forward to them.

I kind of don't know what else to write. I don't even know if you all are going to read this far. I just wanted to share some of my thoughts and see where this gets. But if you got up here, to the end, please share how are you. I would love to get to know you a bit more. I will be posting again, really soon. I am slowly getting back into shape and in a bit of time I will get back to blogging and vlogging again. I have some plans, but I have to prepare a lot for them, so cross fingers;).

Hello there darlings and loved ones.

I haven't posted in a while and it bugs me. But right now, my life consists of big word, tight deadlines and high hopes and evening frustration. Also bitten nails and greasy hair. Lovely image isn't it?

One month from now it is, maybe even few days less I will be officially an engineer and a full time working girl. It sounds strange. One month from now I will have this school finished and done and I will be extremely happy about it. Don't get confused. Uni is hard as hell. But it is worth it.

I am now at the stage when my life ends after a certain date. For me that date is this thursday and after that there will be some kind of mid life and after my finals, completely new world unravels. I am so looking forward to it. I will buy a really comfortable chair, that kind you can get outside and sunbathe in the garden. That kind you can get your feet up and you can adjust the way that the back goes so that you are sitting at one point and laying at another. And I will take that outside fancy chair to my husbands house and during weekends I will do nothing but lay on that chair and read books.

I already have one of those fancy chairs at home, that is why I only need one. That is the life I am picturing will happen. Also I will come home from work every day and there will be no more working, no more studying, no more deadlines. I can do what ever I eant with those few hours in the evening. I can clean the house. I can cook something. I can bake a cake. I can read a book. A can watch TV. Or I can go to sleep. That is what I can do with all that spare time that I will hve in the future. Also I can sew. Or if I have too much work I could just stay at work at work till late. Because I would not have to do anything else.

And I am so looking forward to that. If you go to university and work at the same time you know what I am talking about. My life right now is a set of deadlines. I have to fit work and school together with something called life and people. Luckily my idea of people is just me and my husband, because we do not need anyone else, and I am extremely happy that we are at this stage right now because I could not afford anything else.

As this all ends, I am thinking about all I have been through, and even though there is a lot of nights I had to work through and parties I missed because of school, I would never take it back. I am just hopefull I will never ever have to go through this experience again. One assignment I had I realized day before I was supposed to present it that I am not going to make it in time. So I coded all day and all night. Went to sleep at 3.50 to wake up at 4.30 and got to train. I coded through the train ride and after I got to my flat I continued to work. I had the presentation at 5 PM and I managed to make it work. I got 9.5/10 point for that assignment.

When we were in the first year we had this assignment to create a pdf file in LaTeX and submit it through some ftp place we had to change something there for it to be visible to other people. The night it was due, we had to turn it in until midnight, me and my roommate decided to celebrate something and got really drunk. I finished that assignment and handed it in, but than I got 0 points because the teacher could not find the file anywhere.

One year during the night that the clock is changing, this was in winter, it was moving backward I was coding and coding and it was two o'clock, than 2.50 AM and than it was two o'clock again and I had gone to sleep at around 5 am and done so much that night.

When I was in second year, I had this subject, functional and logical programming, and it was known to be really hard subject. It really was one of the worst things I got through. There was only about 13 people that got the courage to go through it. And we did not know how many points we got for our assignments until the last weeks of semester. And I was loosing all my hopes that i would get through that subject, because the test were really hard and I knew I did not do good. But I did not give up, I worked hard and finally got points, got enough to go to final exam and got the best C I have ever gotten.

Once we had a final exam and we didn't know how many points we got through semester. And you have to get certain amount to be able to attend final. We got our points about an hour before that exam.

When we were in first year I was feeling as if I was 15 because I had a really bad hair day, so my roommate and I decided to celebrate that and wrote some friend and gone out. We were meeting and starting and midnight, finished up at around 7 in the morning.

I could go on for a long time, but I guess you are not really interested. I just have all these feelings about ending school and looking forward to the rest of my life that I just wanted to share some of them with you. Also I wanted to say a huge thank you for everyone that has crossed fingers for me, because it was looking really really dark in certain point, but right now it's all good and I am able to hand in my final thesis this thursday even though it is not 100 percent great but never mind. I will finish this school and that is what matters.

Hello there darlings and loved ones!

I haven't wrote in a while and these kinds of posts gone way off last few weeks. And I am sorry about it. But today I have something cool, I have a new ins video with my first impressions about stuff that I bought.


I found an awesome new Bio shop that does home delivery. For anyone in Slovakia check out bioprevas.sk. This is not sponsored or anything I am just genuinely happy I found them. This was my first time buying there, so I wanted to check out how well their delivery is and also the quality of their products, so I went for few things that are easily spoiled.

I've been playing with the idea of home delivery bio, because nowhere near my work or my route to work is any suitable shop that would sell stuff like quinoa or azuki beans. Though supermarkets are getting there but it is incredibly expensive in there. Comparing it to Biopark or Dm market that sell bio stuff, the supermarkets are more expensive.

And since there is no shop around me, where I could buy my healthy stuff I was always at the position of having to think where to go now to get something I needed. Then I had to make plans for going to the shop and write everything down, and every time I forgot about something and I was completely miserable. Also I wanted to cut dairy and milk a bit since I feel it's not too great for me. And that's why I wanted to find some good home delivery bio shop. Now I should stop rambling and get to the things I bought :).


Firstly I decided to try out this coconut milk that is supposed to be coconut whipping cream, being able to stand as great as standard whipping cream, and if you tried to cut dairy out you know what kind of a pain it is to find working cream. I don't really think this is somewhat different from the tin can one, apart from packaging but I haven't tried it out yet so when I do I will tell you how it went :). Also the tin can one is pretty great as well, you just can't shake it and carefully pour the water out leaving the cream below.


I got back to my morning smoothies now and I wanted to get some nice powder that is great for your body. I was thinking about Maca powder for a while, but the negative effects of it drew me off. So I searched a bit longer and found Acai powder. This one is freeze dried so that none of it's  great powers gets lost. Also it is pure acai powder with no added sugar or other stuff. It is a great antioxidant, helping body lower the cholesterol levels, also helps to protect against diseases and aging, improve blood circulation and gives you a great healthy looking skin, hair and nails. It also has so many other great benefits, and from what I found, and I dug deep, it does not have any negative effects, So I am super happy. I add only a half of tea spoon to my smoothie every morning.


I also bought this baking powder, which is without added chemicals or phosphates. I was buying this in those little packages in DM Market, paying for 5 of them too much money. This one is about 10 packages in one, but in my opinion the packages are way too big for ordinary baking, so I think this will last way longer. I just love this packaging of baking powder, I find it really handy and cute.


I started making my own cereals. I love cocoa cereals but normally I can't get more than hour before feeling hungry. I bought a great recipe book recently and there were three recipes for home made cereals and I tried them and they are awesome and I don't get hungry until lunch which is awesome! So I wanted to get some really healthy cocoa in, since I put loads of cocoa in and I bought this raw cocoa powder. Everybody is telling me it tasted horrible, and I believe them :) But I don't mind, since it only goes to cereals I don'think it's too big of a deal. I wouldn't put it to my hot cocoa, I am not that courageous. Yet. :D


Last thing I bought is this rice milk. As I said about a million times already I am trying to cut back milk and I started trying different types of vegetable milks. I stared with rice milk. When it goes to smoothies, it is all right but when it comes to drinking it alone - weird. It tasted like rice in milk, which if you don't know is when you boil your rice and then pour milk into it. We used to have it when I was a kid and I love it to this day but without the rice to chew along it is just weird. We will definitely be trying some more soon.

And that's all. I hope you enjoyed this, it maybe gave you some idea of what they have in the shop, even though there is way more in there. And maybe it inspired you, but if not never mind, you are your own person;). I discovered lately that me talking about my healthy food is giving pressure to the people I'm talking to abut eating healthy. I am not pressuring anyone to anything I mean I still order pizza or go to fast food from time to time, and I still love it. I just am happy about living healthy most of the time because I generally feel better. But I don't expect from other people to be the same. I know I wouldn't have the courage year ago.

P.S.2 I have less than a month to turn in my diploma thesis and I am now living in a constant state of freaking out. Hopefully it will all be great.

P.S.3 My nails decided to take care of themselves and are slowly getting rid of the left over nail polish so that they look somewhat presentable. It's weird not having nail polish on my nails.
