time flies really quickly and I can't even tell how easily this year gone away. One year ago at this time I was sitting in a train going to repair what I broken. And well yes I'm talking about a boy. And I am proud to say that I have repaired things and this boy -now my fiance - is now sitting next to me.

But well, tonight is all about saying thanks to last year and thinking what we did right and what we did wrong. And well, I can only think about the good stuff. Like today, when I went skying and taught my future husband how to ski. And well I slept a lot throughout the process. Waking up at 6:30 is not for me.


But he learned the basics through the first day and on the second we were just enjoying snow and relaxing and practicing what he learned.


But well, if I can tell you a thing, I will tell you not to be scared living your dreams no matter how hard they seem to be. And to stand by yourself and your wishes because well you are the best thing you can get out of this world so you better try your best to be your best.

And for the outfit, I made this circle skater skirt I will be making a dyi about on my other blog and got an amazing christmas jumper on romwe.com so I decided to mix these two a bit.


And of course I forgot about a deadline, so I had to change back to home clothes and work.

Hello there darlings and loved ones.

So I have another review of a product I fell in love this past - well it is almost year since I bought it.



This little darling is Primer, Concealer and Foundation in one. It has SPF 20 and I honestly love it so so much.
I'm not a fan of max factor, honestly I'm more like rimmel kind of girl, mostly because of the made in London sentence. (Love anything brittish even though I never got the chance to go to London.). I bought this particular product because I got a bargain on it and needed any kind of make up.



By that time I never knew you should have primer, concealer and foundation as separate things. We would just buy make up and stick with it.

But anyhow this thingie has all three of them together wich is perfect for lazy ones like me who enjoy sleeping and don't have any time to waste for putting three different kind of make up on your face before heading out. That's one big plus.



Second is that it sticks to the skin and stays there throughout the day leaving your skin without any red marks or anything like that. It will not help your skin to look fresh at 9 o'clock PM after you had four to six hours of sleep that night, it's not a miracle just a foundation (learned the hard way).

Third is that the coverage is really good, I honestly love it. I almost convinced myself I had perfect skin without any troubles. Then I removed the make up and got back to reality.

Fourth it comes with this little pump so it's easy to slap on your face and I must say it's a big plus against those tube like foundations which just exploded every day and I had to rub them off of mirror so that my roommates won't kill me for making a mess.
But also the pump get's a lot less convenient when you are trying to scratch out last dips of foundation out of it because you still didn't find the time and money to go and buy a new one.



And that's I guess all that comes up to my mind. I bought it again, I loved it that much. Even though it is really expensive for me I think it's really worth the money. But this time I bought a one tone warmer than last time. I bought the natural 50 this time and stopped looking like a very ill ghost every day, I really like it.

I had a bad shoes year this year and I had to repair all of my shoes at least 15 times, most of those times was this autumn. And now my boots fallen appart. Again. And I must say I started wearing these boots 3 weeks earlier and was sweating in them, because my autumn shoes has fallen apart and I had nothig to wear.

A not a really good day starts with your supervisor telling you that somehow all emails from you went directly into spam and he couldn't read them.
Continues with a train home you realise too late you shouldn't buy tickets because there is noone on the other end that would pick you up without stress that you are blamed for.
Then you learn that the train before your had an accident and you have to get off the train and get into a bus. With 500 other people.
So you decide to twist your faith and get a ride to your fiance's house.
And you have your sister pick you up from there on her way home (yes you should go with her in the first place but you were really really stubborn).
While you're waiting for her you realise that you have two deadlines due to that midnight.
After you get home you realise you only have two hours to accomplish writing stuff for those two deadlines.

Luckilly it ends with your stuff done, and while you write on your blog to all the lovely people and spam bots out there the soup your mom made is here calling to be eaten.

And I'm too tired to check my mistakes and spelling errors.

My hair is so soft I can't stop touching them. (And I have a grammar nazi fiancé).

But that's not what I wanted to talk about.
Firstly I wanna say hi! Because I didn't write for a long time now and I apologize. This time I allready wrote those two articles I'm dishing about for ages, so they are allready written and planned and they will be out soon.

And then I wanna talk about motivation. Because that's what moves this world. And I think everyone should have their one motivational sentence that will magicaly appear every time they wanna give up.
Because only those who fight can survive, that's the rule of the wild nature.

Today I learned one particularly perfect motivational sentence.

On friday two weeks ago I had the weirdest dreams.
I was on meadow just walking there. It was all just plain green grass, no flowers, nothing just green and amazingly blue sky above. Then my dog came along. She was just running towards me happy to see me to say hi looking young and cheerfull. And I thought to myself "How is it possible that you're here when you are actually dead?"

Then I saw my other dog running towards us. He looked really really old with his fur all gray but still he was so happy that he reunited with his old love. They came to each other and looked happy to see each other and then they ran away.

My first dog died two years ago. The other one last thursday.

I do believe in ghosts. And I'm happy they found each other again, they loved each other so much.



They will be missed.

As you might allready know I bought in summer Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure nail polish and I absolutely loved it. I used almost a half of it allready, wearing it every day since.



So I decided last monday I should get some more from the SH line of nail polishes. And as I was looking for a bit darker autumn colors I couldn't pick from the Complete salon manicure colors.
So I went for the SH Hard as Nails Xtreme wear polishes and since they were half the price I bought two. (That's because I'm a shopaholic not because it should be done that way.)
And I picked number 90 Brick Wall and number 370 Black out.



And I'm a bit sad about them. I had high expectations about them that's true, but they let me down a bit.

First:
One layer is not enough, it's too thin and you can see almost half of the orignal nail (pretty damaged from all the red nail polishes *shy*), so you have to get two coats.

Second:
If you get two coats it takes forever to dry it.

Third:
Really really forever.

Fourth:
They are easily scratched, since they are drying so long.


So, here's the story. I bought the nail polishes on Monday morning. I did put on my nails the Brick Wall shade(number 90) and liked it. It wass all right, this one didn't let me down, since it has only first and second problem.
But I decided to change it a bit when I got home in the evening, because I always wear red so for mixing it up a little I got the first one down and got the black one on.
I was up for about an hour and then got to sleep. While beeing awake I was really careful not to scratch the nails.



When I got up my nails were a mess. They were all scratched, all of them. But I went to school, to work and after getting home some time after noon I added another coat. (So that's the third coat.) And it dryed after a while and was all good. Then I had to clean my room because people from hygiene were about to go and sniff around all the rooms at my dorm. And my right hand got all scratched. Again. But I must say the left one is all right. Maybe a little worn off.


It's all scratched you might see it there a bit.

So I'm sad a bit about this line of  Sally Hansen nail polishes.

P.S. I'm sorry I got quiet for a while, things were a bit crazy, but since there is a huge party right next to my room I will be awake for a while and write you another few posts so be sure to check them out!

You know, sometimes you come to ground breaking realisations? Well this is my realisation from today: Everything is about what you learn from your parents.

Apparently when you are 165 centimeters tall and have around 50 kg you're considered rather small, tiny and little. And when you're trying wedding dresses and are just 22 and look a bit younger you're not considered reliable customer. And you have to go through catalogue three times before they find time for you.
That's my point of view.
I had to try out 8 out of 10 dresses that were size 38 to 40 and they pinned them in the back, so good 10 centimeters were sticking out. And they said: For this small tiny person we don't have dresses but don't you worry we can make them smaller. No thank you if you can have dress with a size of 52 (at least they say they do, maybe they're lying about this as well) why can't you have 34 or at least 36 for pete's sake.
I still didn't find my dress.
I'm pretty sad with the world right now. My head hurts.
Just wanted to complain a bit.

Last Friday I decided to try to create a hairstyle, since I figured that as a 22 year old I should be able to do more with my hair than comb it. And since I say that you should never wear a ponytail in public, unless you're doing any kind of sport activity or you're trying to look like a pony, I had to look for some other options.

So I watched this video

and since I'm a 100% Waldorf girl and all up for headbands, I decided to try the braided headband hairstyle.

It looked simple and easy. You just take a small amount of hair, create a braid and pin it on the other side of your head. That easy. That simple.

I wanted to shoot some outfits but as it happens I'm sick as (the sickest person in the world?). So I spent last two days laying in bed, watching old series of gossip girl and glee and today I'm sitting on 6 hour lecture and trying not to die here.

But still, I'm so happy when I see how many people followed me and commented so far. I know it's not milions or thousands or tens, but still I'm so so so happy.

So I wanted to share my joy with you. Hooray!

I am crazy happy. Too crazy happy I think, but nevermind. And I'm getting too excited for my wedding that's in almost 10 months. I would say I should be procrastinating about the wedding for at least next three months but no I must get crazy right now. And create a wedding website:D Stupid me. But enough.

It's raining it's pouring the old man is snoring, he went to bed and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning.

I got ombre hair! Again. This time by myself with assistance of my dearest cousin:) (she mostly took photos and gave me a heart warming speech about how good I look plus took away the brush when I got too crazy:D) Also I bought and used the L'oreal wild ombre kit, mostly because of all the youtube videos I have seen.

All right once again I am a hair products junkie. I was on a website http://www.completebeauty.eu/ and decided I have some spare money to make myself  a bit happy.

Yeehaw it's my birthdaaaaaaaaaaay!

Yes I am one of the creepy people who love their birthday and have to remind everyone around every five minutes it's their birthdaaaaaaaaay!

All right,
I know it may seem a bit crazy. But I really am getting ready for the winter since I'm sewing my brand new perfectly cozy winter coat. Since it takes at least 4 days for me to create this piece of clothing I reserved a week for it in summer.

I almost couldn't get off the work but finally I have some free time. While working it helps the time to fly a bit quicker with this song try it maybe :)



My darling will come to see me, so I will have some photos and news other then tons and tons of work.

I got through the lush.cz website and brazilkeratin.cz websites and I will be ordering some hair products soon, since I am a hair product junkie. So stay tuned I will post some more posts, I promise.

If you ever tried a photo lessons, one of them is finding textures in nature and world around. At least it is in the book my mum bought :D. Since I had some spare time in Trogir, because we were walking around with kids, and you may know that kids walk a bit slower, I decided to take pictures of walls. What are you up to lately? I've been away a bit cleaning up my house unpacking and stuff. I'm not doing pretty much anything apart testing the sally hansen righ said red nailpolish and it's Amazing! I left my dearest love - my computer at home he's going to the computer doctor for some new keyboard, since the Backspace has fallen off completely and I'm carrying it around in my wallet like a weirdo. Today just some random photos and I'll publish some traveling tips during the week.

I got an ombre! Sort of. I have ends coloured. My mum told me I look like I got strawberry jam in my hair. It's so nice to be home...
And yes that tried to be irony.

I know I promised a packing article, this one will be a mashup of a look and packing and stuff. I was busy whole weekend unpacking all of the stuff and then, I'm finally home so my mum gave me a list. As usual but I love her because of it. So today I'm up on book cleaning and I'm a bit terrified. Luckily (or unluckilly I don't know), I do this only once a year. This big cleanup.

I am absolutely thrilled. And I am like uaaaa. I got my first part of university finished, and my hard work of last three years paid off and I will get my degree at the graduation in july. Happy!!


My supervisor and oponent wanted to give me a D but thanks to my amazing presentation (and my supervisor said it was awesome and that I convinced them that I made a lot of work and the people from the jury gave me a better grade.)

And I am thrilled. I love you all. I'm working on the article about the nailpolishes and it will be up tomorrow. Also I'm leaving my flat I lived in fror last two years so hooray for packing! Not really.

I'll post you packing photos then.

I am terrified. Absolutely horrified. And mummiefied? No, that's the point where my vocabulary reaches it's limits.
I have to create this presentation, where I talk about my bachelor thesis. Bachelor thesis is one big paper, that we wrote in the last one or two semesters of undergraduate studies( I guess it is called in USA?). We have university separated in two parts, first is 3 years long and it's called bachelor and we get bc title in the end, and second is 2 years and we have Ing. title in the end. Ing is like the highest before PhD.

Yes, I am a shampoo junkie. I wash my hair almost every day and hate spending more time on it than to get a shampoo on and wash it away.


In last half a year I tried so many types of shampoo for damaged hair that I want to share my knowledge and maybe if you want to try something new you can find some inspiration here.

In this article we will show you how to clear the bottom of a skirt, pants or dresses. We will explain the basics of creating the rolled hem.





The rolled hem needs extra 2 centimeters added to the original pattern for seam allowance. It is prettiest and easiest thing to do with hems, since it hides the edge of a garment completely and gives the skirt professional look.

This tutorial will cover the creation of simple waistband

Measure yourself

Measure your waist in order to create waistband. To your measures add at least 4 centimetres for the overlapping and then 2 centimetres for seam allowance.

For example: if I have 72 centimetres around my waist, I need at least 78 centimetres waistband.

If you have enough fabric, you can make it longer and then cut it to the right length after sewing.

 I made mine by folding the fabric to two layers and measuring just the half length.

You can have it as wide as you want, remember to add 1 centimeter on each side for seam allowance. I made mine 2.5 centimeters wide, so I had to crop out 7 centimeters wide piece.
The equation is: wide * 2 + seam allowance.


If you want the fabric firmer you can add the fuse which is piece of fabric with a glue on one side  and it is ironed on the fabric (the glue side down) and making the fabric firmer.
